Director - Sally K Donaldson, PhD
Sally K Donaldson, PhD has been practicing psychotherapy with individuals and couples for the last thirty years in Greenwich Village, New York. She is a graduate of NYU’s Postdoctoral Program in Psychoanalysis and recently completed a MFA in Creative Nonfiction. She has taught The Psychology of Marriage to NYU undergraduates and written about the role of stepmothers in families. Her paper, Revisiting the Evil Stepmother, is featured at the IPA 2020 conference on Couples and Families in Psychoanalysis. As an early participant in The Inheritance Project, she enjoys helping clients understand the complex, often confusing, issues one inherits along with wealth. In the mid-nineties, she designed and ran small groups for heirs with Dr. Kito Peters where she saw first-hand how hard it is for heirs to complain about not being loved or understood when they’ve been given so much of what the culture values most: money.
Director - Joseph W. Reilly Jr.
I have a passion for connecting with people and love to hear their stories. More than anything else, I like to see people succeed. I believe that the real connector between people is trust, and it all starts with the people around me.
The Legacy of Inherited Wealth was recommended to me when I was a member of the Institute for Private Investors. I got to know Barbara, and she became a tremendous resource for me over the years. She taught me the importance of listening and engaging in a true dialogue with clients. I hope these materials can continue to help people around the world.
